There are many reasons you may want to change the ownership of a Studio Session, such as if the current owner is about to leave the company. Then, on the ‘My Sessions’ section, click on the Session that you wish to change the ownership of, and go to the ‘Reassign Ownership’ tab. Now, input the email of the person you want to take over ownership of the Studio Session, and click ‘Apply’. It should be noted that you must be the owner of a Session, in order to transfer its ownership to another user.

Then, go to the Bluebeam Administrator, which can be accessed by clicking or pressing the ‘Start’ button, and typing ‘Bluebeam Administrator’ into the search bar. On the ‘Tools’ menu, click on ‘Unregister’, then ‘OK’. The next step is to uninstall Revu from your computer from the Control Panel, which can be accessed by pressing or clicking ‘Start’ and typing ‘control panel’ into the search bar. Once you are on the Control Panel, click on ‘Uninstall a Program’, select and right-click Bluebeam Revu, and then click ‘Uninstall’.
The next step is to download and install Revu onto the new computer. To do this, follow the download link you received with the License Certificate, or alternatively you can go to page. Once Revu is installed on your new computer, you will be prompted to enter your Serial Number and Product Key. Complete the online or manual authorization process to authorize the software on the new computer. Webpage allows users to check what computers they have installed Revu on.
Input your Serial Number, Product Number and registered email, then click ‘Get List’. You will then be taken to a webpage where you will find your license information, customer information, customer contact details, reseller contact details, and what computer you have Revu installed on. If a PC has had a hard disk failure or similar breakage, let us know the Serial Number of the license and the computer name. We can unregister that PC off your license, allowing you to register another installation.
If you’re struggling with the size of your PDF file, whether it be because it is too large too email or you have limited memory space to work with, you can use the ‘Reduce File Size’ function. To do this, click on the ‘Processes’ button, under the ‘Document’tab along the command bar, and then click ‘Reduce File Size’. Once you do this, a new window will pop-up, presenting you with options for the size you wish to reduce the file to. The default and recommended file reduction setting maintains a balanced image retention and file size.
This setting can be adjusted to prioritise quality over compression, or vice versa. More advanced options are available if you press the ‘Edit’ button. Once you have decided upon your favoured file reduction settings, press ‘Ok’.
This will open another window where you can save the new, compressed document to your preferred destination. You may wish to hyperlink documents, so that you can easily access corresponding sections within different documents.

To do this, click on ‘Hyperlinks’ under the ‘Markups’ tab along the command bar. Once you have clicked the Hyperlink markup, you will be prompted to draw a rectangle around an area you wish to focus on.

A new window will appear, prompting you to decide what you want this selected area to direct users to. You can then instruct Revu to, once the selected area has been clicked, direct the user to a new document, snapshot-view of the current document or another one, a website (via a hyperlink), or another page of the open document.

You may transfer Bluebeam PDF Revu by uninstalling the software from one workstation (provided it is connected to the Internet). This will free up the license key, and then you can install the same version of the software onto another computer. Use the same serial number and product key to register the software.
